Reach – You can reach a much larger percentage of your target market with direct mail.

What to Consider when Selecting Direct Mail Promotional Products:
Size - If the product is too small, it may go unnoticed by your prospect. Letters have a tendency to disappear under other mail on the kitchen counter. On the other hand, if it is too large, the cost of mailing the promotional product will skyrocket.
Cost - The cost of executive gifts being mailed should not be too high, since these are being mailed in bulk and one has no way of ensuring that the prospect will actually receive the promotional item.
Packaging - The packaging has to be carefully selected as well. It must arouse curiosity and must protect the promotional product being mailed.
Handling – It isn’t a great idea to select direct mail promotional products that require careful handling.
